25 April 2024 Industry and Business Ecosystem Division (IBE) through Weights and Measures Unit (SDT) and Department of Economic Planning and Statistics (DEPS) through Department of Consumer Affairs under the Ministry of Finance and Economy conducted Joint Operation on business premises at Brunei Muara District on Tuesday, 23 April 2024.

Total Trade Grew 10.8 Per Cent in February 2024
25 April 2024 Total trade grew by 10.8 percent in February 2024 valued at BND2,405.5 million, compared to January 2024. This was contributed by exports and imports valued at BND1,547.3 million and BND858.2 million respectively.

24 April 2024 Jabatan Perancangan Ekonomi dan Statistik (JPES) di Kementerian Kewangan dan Ekonomi telah mengeluarkan empat (4) Notis Amaran kepada empat (4) buah premis perniagaan kerana ketidakpatuhan terhadap Peraturan-Peraturan Acara Harga Jualan Murah pada hujung bulan Februari dan dalam bulan Mac 2024.

Consumer Price Index Decreased by 0.5 Per Cent in March 2024
24 April 2024 The Consumer Price Index (CPI) in March 2024 registered a decrease of 0.5 per cent compared to March 2023, mainly driven by a 1.0 per cent decrease in the Non-Food index. Meanwhile, the Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverages index recorded an increase of 1.5 per cent.

Launching Ceremony of Brunei Green Economy Report

The Ministry of Finance and Economy in collaboration with the British High Commission, this morning, organised the launching of the Brunei Green Economy Report that was held at the Theatre Hall, Ministry of Finance and Economy. Attending as the Guest of Honour at the ceremony was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II, and the British High Commissioner, His Excellency Mr. John Virgoe.
