Launching Ceremony of Brunei Green Economy Report

The Ministry of Finance and Economy in collaboration with the British High Commission, this morning, organised the launching of the Brunei Green Economy Report that was held at the Theatre Hall, Ministry of Finance and Economy. Attending as the Guest of Honour at the ceremony was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II, and the British High Commissioner, His Excellency Mr. John Virgoe.

Yang Mulia Pengiran Datin Seri Paduka Hajah Zety Sufina binti Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Sani, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy (Fiscal) at the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Brunei Darussalam attended the 11th AFMGM and Related Meetings held in Luang Prabang, Lao PDR. Also present at the Meetings was Yang Mulia Dayang Hajah Rokiah binti Haji Badar, Managing Director of the Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB).

Trade Balance in January 2024 Recorded a Surplus of BND460.2 Million
04 April 2024 The trade balance for January 2024 has recorded a surplus of BND460.2 million. Total trade in January 2024 was BND2,171.0 million, compared to BND2,334.2 million in December 2023. This was contributed by exports valued at BND1,315.6 million and imports valued at BND855.4 million.

Exports Volume Index rose 11.3 Per Cent in the Fourth Quarter 2023
03 April 2024 The exports volume index in the fourth quarter (Q4) 2023 rose by 11.3 per cent contributed by a rise index of Mineral Fuels (12.2 per cent), and Chemicals (0.3 per cent).
