The Ministry of Finance and Economy (MOFE) held a socialisation session on the Fiscal Consolidation
Programme (FCP) and the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Manual on 4 June 2025 at the Theatre
Hall, MOFE Building.
The session was organised by the Budget Division and the Research and Strategic Management
Division, MOFE, as part of the Government’s ongoing efforts to promote fiscal sustainability and
strengthen collaboration between the public and private sectors in national development through PPP
initiatives.
The objective of the session was to provide exposure to government officers, particularly those
involved in the review of existing policies, implementation of structural reforms, and the exploration
of new approaches to public service delivery within their respective Ministries and Departments. The
session also aimed to enhance understanding of the FCP guidelines in supporting efforts towards
fiscal discipline and innovative governance.
