The Ministry of Finance and Economy continued its Dikir Syarafil Anam ceremony at Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) Mosque last night to commemorate the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy (Economy) Dato Seri Paduka Dr Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin was the guest of honour. Also present were permanent secretary, heads of departments and sections, officers and staff members of the ministry and departments under it.

The event began with a mass Maghrib prayer followed with a Tazkirah and Dikir. It ended with a mass Isya’ prayer.

The event was organised by the Brunei Investment Agency (BIA).

Meanwhile, members of the Women’s Bureau of Kampong Sungai Buloh held a Dikir Syarafil Anam to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) recently.

The event was held at the residence of Village Head of Kampong Sungai Buloh Pengiran Haji Ismail bin Pengiran Ibrahim in his capacity as the Acting Penghulu of Mukim Mentiri.

The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Hajah Ismawati binti Haji Sulaiman, the recitation of Sayyiul Istighfar followed with the recitation of Dikir Assalamualai, Dikir Khairuman, Dikir Alhamd and Dikir Asyraqal. It ended with the recitation of Doa Dikir and Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam.
