The Ministry of Finance and Economy (MoFE) and departments under it hosted Dikir Syarafil Anam ceremony in conjunction with Maulidur Rasul 1441 Hijrah, organised by Brunei Investment Agency (BIA) at Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque in the capital, yesterday.

Acting Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman was the guest of honour.

Also in attendance were Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy (Economy) Dato Seri Paduka Dr Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin; permanent secretary, heads of departments and divisions, officers and staff members of the ministry and departments under it.

The ceremony began with mass Maghrib prayer, followed by a religious talk on Maulidur Rasul by Pengiran Ahmad Faris Ramadhani bin Pengiran Haji Sellahuddin, and Dikir Syarafil Anam. The event concluded with mass Isyak prayer.
