The Ministry of Finance and Economy (MoFE) through the Employees Trust Fund (TAP) celebrated Ma’al Hijrah 1441 at the Theatre Hall of the Ministry of Finance and Economy Building, Commonwealth Drive, Jalan Kebangsaan yesterday.

Acting Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman was the guest of honour.

The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by a religious talk by Assistant Lecturer at the Usuluddin Faculty of the Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) Haji Mohd Khairul Nazif bin Haji Awang Damit.

The talk focussed on adopting good manners by following Prophet Muhammad’s (pbuh) Sunnahs and being thankful for whatever blessings by Allah the Almighty.

The annual event was also held to strengthen relationship among officers and staff at the ministry.

Also present were Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy (Economy) Dato Seri Paduka Dr Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, permanent secretaries, heads of departments and divisions, officers and staff at the Ministry of Finance and Economy.
