Chinese Enterprises Association (CEA) in Brunei Darussalam Forum 2020: "Mutual Support & Overcoming Challenges Together"

​The Chinese Enterprises Association in Brunei Darussalam, support by the Bank of China (Hong Kong) Brunei Branch and The People's Republic of China Embassy in Brunei Darussalam, hosted their annual economic forum entitled "Mutual Support & Overcoming Challenges Together".

In her keynote address, Her Excellency Madam Yu Hong, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam urged Chinese Enterprises Association members to continue to explore further business opportunities in Brunei Darussalam.

During the dialogue session, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Hj. Mohd. Amin Liew bin Abdullah, the Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II, delivered his views on the current local economic landscape and explained how Foreign Direct Investments can continue to play their roles in growing Brunei Darussalam's economy as well as in the development of our priority industries, namely, Downstream Oil & Gas, Food, Infocommunications Technology (ICT), Tourism and Services.

Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Hj. Mohd. Amin Liew bin Abdullah thanked members of the Chinese Enterprises Association, established on 18 July 2016, for providing business opportunnities to the local micro, small and medium enterprises and job opportunities to the local Bruneians, including the provision of specific trainings to ensure Brunei Darussalam's workforce in job ready and well equipped with industry skills.
