The BruHealth app for Friday prayers can be used starting tomorrow beginning noon. The public wishing to perform Friday prayers on May 29 can book a slot through the app.
Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah said this at a press conference yesterday.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs will use the BruHealth app as a control system to decide the health status of congregants to perform prayer at mosques.
The minister added, if a congregant’s phone is not compatible, it is advised to get the QR code from the website www.healthinfo.gov.bn for slot booking to perform the Friday prayers.
Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) and Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) personnel will be stationed at mosques to help congregants scan QR code.
Individuals who can not get booking slots to perform Friday prayers due to health, or failure to make slot is advised to be present at the mosque to reduce congestion at the mosque entrance.
Foreign workers need to share the information among colleagues and friends and to encourage them to download BruHealth for their daily activities and to perform Friday prayers.
