The members of National Development Plan Working Committee (JKK RKN) conducted the Working visit to the Twelfth National Development Plan (RKN12) project sites in the Brunei Muara District on Monday, 9th February 2026. The delegation was led by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II as Chairman of JKK RKN. Also present during the working visit were Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awg Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid, Minister of Development; Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Dr. Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md Salleh, Minister of Education; Yang Mulia Deputy Ministers at the Ministry of Finance and Economy and Yang Mulia Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs, Permanent secretaries and Deputy Permanent Secretaries and Secretariat of JKK RKN.
This working visit aims to take a closer look at the development and progress of national projects under the RKN to ensure the implementation run smoothly. The visit began at the construction site of the New Mosque of RPN Kampong Rimba and followed the project sites of the Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) Squadron Building which was completed and the C295MW Air Transport Project at the Royal Brunei Air Force Base, Rimba.
The working visit concluded with a visit to the Brunei Museum Building and the Exhibition Building in Kota Batu. This project, which is currently in Phase 3 of implementation, involves the refurbishment and upgrading of the infrastructure and exhibition contents of the Brunei Museum, which, once completed, will become one of the attractions for tourists to the country.
