Population and Housing Census (BPP) 2021 E-Census Implementation Period Ends

The Department of Economic Planning and Statistics (JPES), Ministry of Finance and Economy would like to inform that the Second Stage of the Population and Housing Census (BPP) 2021: e-Census Implementation has ended on 21 July 2021.

JPES would like record our sincere gratitude and appreciation to the public for the support and cooperation. Alhamdulillah nearly half of the total households in Brunei Darussalam have registered and used this new on-line approach for filling in their census details.

Heads of households who have registered for e-Census but have yet to

complete their census questionnaires are reminded to do so as soon as

possible before this Sunday, 25 July 2021.

Meanwhile, households that have not used the e-Census will be covered during the Third Stage of BPP 2021: Face-to-Face Interview from 2 to 29 August 2021. Appointed Census Officers will visit their living quarters to interview the head and each member of the household

to gather the required information on housing and demographic characteristics including education, employment, health and leisure activities.
