The payment date for Civil Service Pensions and Derivative Pensions for May 2020 will take place on Saturday, 27th June 2020 and Monday, 29th June 2020. As previously practised during the months of March, April and May, Treasury Department will continue to conduct the payment for Civil Service Pensions and Derivative Pensions via drive-thru at the following designated locations, except Temburong District:
1.1 For Brunei-Muara District, payments will be made at the International Convention Centre (ICC);
1.2 For Belait District, payments will be made at the Kuala Belait Convention Hall;
1.3 For Tutong District, payments will be made at the Tutong Community Hall; and
1.4 For Temburong District, payments will be made at the Treasury Department's Office, Temburong, i.e. the usual location where payments are made on a monthly basis.
In this regard, payments for Civil Service Pensions and Derivative Pensions (widows and dependents) will be made from 7.30 am to 3.30 pm on the stated dates. Payments after the designated drive-thru dates will be made at the MOFE Building for the Brunei Muara District and Treasury Department branches in the Tutong District, Belait District and Temburong District for 10 working days.
MOFE would like to once again remind and encourage those that have not registered their account details to the Treasury Department to bring a copy of their bank account card for payment processing in the following month.
MOFE would like to kindly seek the public's cooperation in complying with instructions by authorities who will be on the ground during the drive-thru payments as well as public health advice by the Ministry of Health. Recipients are also advised not to come too early; in groups and gather outside their cars while waiting for their turn and to immediately disperse after completing their transactions.
